Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) is one of Australia’s leading pit-to-ship mining services providers with an expanding portfolio of world-class commodity projects and a focus on pursuing cleaner, cost-effective energy for our operations.
Capitalising on their current momentum and growth, Mineral Resources sought a partner capable of delivering world-class UI/UX design that challenged the status quo. They needed a comprehensive website redesign of their Corporate website; their public facing website for stakeholders as well as the creation of an Onboarding website; an internal place for employees to access essential information. Both websites needed to have high performing metrics, including page load times and scores, as well as reflect the evolved brand “I am MinRes” initiative.
During the redesign of the Corporate website, we accomplished a comprehensive overhaul to create a modern and user-friendly interface. Additionally, we developed the Onboarding website from scratch, which involved extensive stakeholder and user interviews to ensure it met the needs of new employees, providing them with easy access to essential information.
To enhance the site's search functionality, we leveraged Algolia, enabling efficient searches across pages, blog posts, and ASX announcements. Furthermore, we undertook significant integration work, including incorporating Weblink to fetch and display real-time stock prices and ASX announcements relevant to the client's stock.
The comprehensive redesign has significantly improved the user experience, streamlined content management, and enhanced the overall functionality of the website. As part of the redesign, we seamlessly migrated over 125 blogs from WordPress to the new platform. Additionally, we developed 41 reusable sections that offer flexibility and consistency across both websites.
